A Note About Custom 3D Prints:
We want you to love your finished piece, so we believe it’s important to know what to expect before submitting a custom request.
Custom Prints of People
When creating a 3D print based on a real person, our goal is to capture a recognizable likeness and the characteristics that make that person special. Please keep in mind that a 3D-printed figure is an artistic representation and is not intended to be an exact replica of the person. Features, proportions, expressions, hair, clothing, and other details may vary from the reference photos provided.
The quality and variety of reference photos can also affect the level of detail and likeness we’re able to achieve. Clear, well-lit photos from multiple angles are always helpful.
Look & Feel of 3D Prints
3D-printed items have characteristics that are different from traditionally manufactured or molded products. Depending on the design, material, size, and printing process, your finished piece may have visible layer lines, slight surface texture, or small variations that are a natural part of the 3D-printing process.
Finished pieces may also feel lighter than expected. Many 3D prints are created with an internal structure rather than being completely solid, allowing us to create durable pieces without unnecessary material and weight.
Colors may vary slightly from what you see in photographs, digital renderings, or on your screen.
Bringing Your Idea to Life
We love seeing the creative ideas our customers bring us, and we’ll always do our best to turn your vision into something special. However, 3D design and printing do have technical limitations. Not every concept, feature, level of detail, size, pose, or configuration can be successfully created or printed exactly as imagined.
We’ll review your request and let you know what’s possible. In some cases, we may recommend adjustments to the design so that your piece can be printed successfully while staying as close to your original vision as possible.
Your Approval Matters
We’ll work with you to discuss your request, available options, design details, and pricing before your custom order moves forward. When applicable, a design preview will be provided for your approval before printing begins.
By submitting a custom request, you acknowledge that you understand the unique characteristics and limitations of 3D printing and that custom pieces—particularly those based on real people—are intended to be creative representations rather than exact replicas.
